I’m currently developing work in response to Archetypes — an upcoming curated exhibition at Glena Art Studio.
An archetype carries both light and shadow. It is not just a symbol, but a structural force — shaping how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. It connects the personal with the collective, the known with the unknown.
In this context, my work explores the moment where identity begins to fragment and reconfigure. Figures emerge through layers of gold, ash, and shifting matter — not fully formed, but in transition. This space between control and surrender becomes a point of tension: are we shaped by these inherited patterns, or can we become conscious enough to transform them?

The exhibition brings together artists working across disciplines, examining archetypes as both limiting structures and pathways toward self-realisation.
