Monika Tkaczyk

Meet the Artist | Monika Tkaczyk
We’re pleased to introduce Monika Tkaczyk whose work is featured in What We Carry.

Monika Tkaczyk is a London-based glass artist whose practice explores memory, transformation and identity through kiln-fired painted glass. Layering colour, light, texture and intricate marks, she creates works that move between abstraction and symbolism.
In Eclipse Of Remembrance and Eclipse Of Awakening, Monika considers the invisible traces that remain within us after moments have passed. Glass becomes both material and metaphor—fragile yet enduring, holding layers of memory, emotion and experience while continually changing through light.

I’m Monika

Glass artist specializing in stained glass and painted glass – blending light, creativity, and intention. Also an IT professional, bringing precision and depth into every projects.

My art is not only about form and colour – it is about energy and transformation.
In my spiritual practice, I guide others through Theta Healing, meditation, and inner journeys.

This path complements my artistic work, as both are rooted in light, intention, and the desire to inspire change.

Each artwork is created through multiple stages of painting and kiln firing. Layers of vitreous glass enamels are permanently fused into the glass at high temperatures, creating depth, texture and luminosity that cannot be achieved with surface paint.
