Where My Heart Finds Light is an intuitive exploration of memory, emotion and inner transformation. Built through layers of kiln-fired colour, gestural marks, translucent passages and richly textured surfaces, the work moves between shadow and illumination.

Olive, ochre, earthy brown and muted rose tones create an atmospheric landscape in which fragments of light gradually emerge. Repeated marks and delicate, script-like gestures suggest thoughts, memories and experiences that cannot always be expressed through words.

The darker areas represent moments of uncertainty and depth, while the luminous golden passages become symbols of resilience, awareness and the quiet light that remains within us.

Created intuitively rather than from a predetermined image, this work reflects the act of listening inward and allowing something authentic to emerge.

Each artwork is created through multiple stages of painting and kiln firing. Layers of vitreous glass enamels are permanently fused into the glass at high temperatures, creating depth, texture and luminosity that cannot be achieved with surface paint.
