A serene glass painting depicting a mountaintop sanctuary bathed in divine light, created with silver stain for golden halos and framed in antique lead. Perfect for prayerful spaces.

High on Mount Saint Anna, where mist clings to ancient stone, stands a humble sanctuary – a place of pilgrimage where seekers find silence and solace. I painted this using glass paints for the cool blues of the rocky slopes and warm umbers of the chapel walls, then applied silver stain that fires to shimmering gold for the glowing cross and haloed window. The jagged peaks frame the scene like protective arms, while a single ray of light pierces the clouds, symbolising divine presence amid nature’s grandeur. Assembled in a traditional lead frame, it captures that sacred moment when heaven touches earth – a personal retreat you can hang in your own home.
