A group of talented artists from Hammersmith & Fulham’s Macbeth Centre is set to showcase their work in the historic surroundings of Kelmscott House, the former home of renowned Arts & Crafts movement icon William Morris. This anticipated Autumn Exhibition, hosted by the William Morris Society, brings local creativity to life on the walls of this beloved landmark, fostering a unique exchange between historic craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression.

In its third consecutive year, the exhibition carefully curates pieces by Macbeth Centre students, positioning their art alongside Kelmscott House’s own permanent collection. Among this year’s works is a standout piece titled “Crows,” a striking contribution that embodies the vibrant creativity found within the H&F artistic community. The exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to view original pieces in a space rich with Morris’s legacy of design and craftsmanship.

Exhibition Dates and Details
The exhibition is open from 2-5 pm on the following dates:

  • October: 24th, 26th, 27th, 31st
  • November: 2nd, 3rd

Kelmscott House, with its preserved interiors and storied past, serves as an inspiring backdrop for the artists.
